Final work

I’m Qianran. I’m a fashion designer and pattern cutter. I was in MA pattern garment technology program in London College of Fashion. I can do both of design and technology. I’m good at to connect the relationship between the textile and silhouette turn them as a cloth. I am not only skilled at creating creative patterns but also capable of traditional pattern-making. My acknowledge of the fashion market enables me to innovate products and bridge the gap between the market and customers.

This project investigates how unisex professional clothing can reconcile these demands, offering garments that are both functional and elegant, capable of supporting freedom of movement, comfort, and individual expression without sacrificing a refined appearance. The research draws inspiration from ergonomic design principles, soft tailoring techniques, and functional sportswear details, exploring how thoughtful patterning and technical fabrics can enhance wearability for diverse body types and active daily routines. Personally, this inquiry emerges from both professional curiosity and lived experience—having encountered the frustration of clothing that fails to adapt to changing environments.
