'A Flower's Breath' is a deep personal exploration into the act of personal narrative. Framed by research on the theory of ‘liminality’ (the in between states of life and uncertainty of change) this project takes an intimate look into my relationship with my surroundings, my body, and art, the deep underbelly of my own identity, experiences and feelings. 

The entire portrait section of my project was shot exclusively in my house, predominately in my bedroom, born out of the desire for spontaneity and freedom in the creative process. This allowed the work to unfold organically creating a space that feels introspective and familiar.

The outcome of this project has allowed me to commit to creating work that feels honest, vulnerable and true. It has set me up with an understanding of the kind of work that I want to continue creating in the future.
