My story begins with self destruction. I felt that I didn’t know who I was anymore and I was stuck in a whirlpool of endless suffering and pain. Then one day all the hate and confusion that I once felt comforted by rose to the surface and I was faced with my new reality. Being that I either continue to live in this endless cycle of never ending trauma or I confront my fears, develop and grow as a person. By confronting my past, present and the unknown future. I took a leap and chose to transcend into the woman I’m destined to become. With all of that being said I decided to begin a process of inner transformation called spiritual alchemy. This project documents my process and undergoing the first stage known as calcination. I needed to burn away all my own impurities and get rid of these toxic patterns for the greater good. Now this project was definitely not easy and I faced many challenges but this collection was the result of me liberating my mind body and finally giving my soul a voice.
