Influenced by my professional experience as a makeup artist, I am passionate about attempting to deconstruct the Western cis-heteronormative beauty ideals embedded in the beauty and fashion sector to achieve a more inclusive and representative media landscape.

Unbound Beauty was created in response to the rigid beauty standards perpetuated by mainstream media and conventional beauty magazines. It's about amplifying real people's stories and their diverse views on beauty. About exploring the possibilities and boundaries of what is considered beautiful. The impact of societal beauty standards on those who endure them.

Exploring themes of Ageing, The Body, Queerness and Gendered Beauty, this is a magazine seeking to reclaim beauty for what it truly can and should be - Unbound.
