# Project Description Tailoring for the Ordinary Olivia Secord Summary Final work College London College of Fashion Course BA (Hons) Bespoke Tailoring Graduation year 2025 This project aims to honour the tradition, heritage and sustainability of bespoke tailoring through different generations and class divides. The project is centred around three clients: my grandfather, my mother, and my younger brother. The design inspiration for each client is informed through ongoing conversations surrounding their upbringing and stylistic influences throughout their lifetime. This project focuses on social inclusion and drawing on personal narratives to create a tailored experience for my clients and their needs. I have sourced a mixture of traditional suiting materials such as flannel and herringbone wool from Huddersfield Fine worsteds and Holland and Sherry Savile Row. Traditional bespoke tailoring techniques have been used to develop my collection in the most accurate and authentic way. By focusing on social inclusion and making bespoke tailoring available to everyone, I differentiate myself from the typically privileged and wealthy clientele of Savile Row.
