Nishat Uddin

This animation explores themes of conflict, isolation, memory, and the collapse of meaning in the face of power. Set in the aftermath of a violent conquest, it follows a knight drifting through space, her ship destroyed, her purpose lost. Through flickering glimpses of war and shifting alien landscapes, the work reflects on the psychological toll of violence and the emptiness left behind by greed and domination. Time fractures as she nears a black hole, mirroring her inner disintegration. The narrative resists redemption, instead portraying a slow unraveling, where glory turns to grief, and conquest leads only to silence and dissolution.
