I've looked at how domestic spaces are made and how inclusivity is not part of the design process. Therefore, I've chosen to create ultra-inclusive living spaces. I've done this by looking at neurodiversity and physical disability. The way I've approached creating separation in my design is by looking at Persian gardens and finding inspiration in canals and the flow of water. The water acts as a pollution barrier for our senses.

Ground floor perspective plan showing domestic design

This 1:100 Axo view of my design shows the water flow through the site, and the inspiration of the Persian gardens.

Research and process

Site Map Showing the Surrounding Typology

Site Map Showing Sun Path
This site map showing sun path throughout the year helped me visualise the best part of the site to build on, as I could see where the most winter light (blue) and summer light (pink gradient) were. From this data I gathered that the west most part of the site would be the best part of the site to build on.
