'APRON' is an exploration of the intimacy that can be found in the domestic space. It exposes habits and rituals that are household-specific. It offers insights into cultural traditions. It serve as evidence to recipes passed down family lines.

But at the core of this project are the diners. They each choose a meal that has a significance to them, and share anecdotes and histories that are personal. Food is used as a medium of connection and art.

The word 'Companion' comes from the Latin prefix "com-" and "panis" meaning

"One who breaks bread with another"

This is the premise of APRON.
