# Project Description Collaborative project New Agency Cookbook Summary Final work 4 Contributors College London College of Communication Course BA (Hons) Design for Art Direction Graduation year 2023 New Agency Cookbook is a project of the New Agency publication created by UAL’s LCC students to inspire students entering the professional industry by introducing creatives from different disciplines and discussing the ‘recipes’ of their work, with the cookbook being a visual metaphor. Essentially, they’re the recipes for creativity and self initiation. ‘A publication and Instagram conference in dialogue with the design industry’. Final work The New Agency Instagram Our aim is to inspire emerging artists to start their own creative journey, by championing New Agency and self-initiated projects. We have created a series of short form interviews with artists ranging from photographers (Joanna) to interactive installation artists (Alisa). We contacted a range of creatives to get as much of a variety of references as possible. To accompany our interviews we have created animated ingredients to help deconstruct the process behind each artists piece. The Instagram pages are our primary output of production to showcase the creative community and the process, references and motivations that build these projects. To expand the platform we have incorporated information for current exhibitions and events that could be of interest and references from books, theories to artists and images. @wow_new_agency @n_a_cookbook Behind the scenes with Alisa Ruzavina ☀️ A peak behind the scenes from our conversation with the one and only @alisa.ruzavina! Mi-Young Choi artwork from exhibition Mi-young Choi is a painter who draws abstract colours and shapes from familiar things with unfamiliar insight. Artist interest is close to aspects of our daily lives, the subject shifts to the artist’s space, directly and indirectly reinterpreting the subject and expanding its meaning beyond a fixed framework. (Specific artwork) Breaking Silence-Beyond Belief, 2022 Dimensions: 850 x 1250 mm Medium: Oil on linen Joanna Wzorek ( Summer, Farewell ) Joanna joined us to talk about her recent art piece titled Summer, Farewell. After finishing a degree at the London College of Fashion, she found her place in London. However, Joanna´s artwork reflects a lot of her Polish heritage and Polish inspirations. We can’t wait to share our exclusive video interview with Joanna and share her unique recipe and ingredients in making of this project!
