Course MA Illustration and Visual Media

Graduation year 2025

Radhika Chaudhary from MA Illustration and Visual Media, with Diksha Ashok from MA Service Design, started a PostGrad interest group called Neuroinclusivity Play Collective. Both felt a lack of support or safe environments for neuroqueer-identifying individuals and felt like they needed to create a support group. In the support group we conduct workshops that help us with are final project and thesis research, but also to find a community to like like-minded individuals. This is the space to play, be expressive and daydream.

Final work

Connection and community

The goal with starting this was that the two collaborators came together as they met at an EDI workshop and found they were interested in working on creating safe spaces and design through play. Diksha got her service design skills mixed with Radhika's illustration and zine-making to continue to create and collaborate. Two south asian neurodivergent artists struggle to find their place in the creative industry, thought why not start a support group and learn from the experience of one another?
