Virtual Try-On in China’s Bridal Rental SMEs: Evidence from Guangdong Enterprises
This report focuses on small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in China's bridal fashion rental industry, evaluating the positioning, adoption path, and key implementation points of Virtual Try-On (VTO) within the constraints of real-world operations. The motivation for this research stems from the fact that existing evidence tends to favour consumers and large brands, and actionable conclusions at the store-level process are insufficient. This study adopts an exploratory orientation. Based on the first-hand materials and verifiable process information of nine store managers, it gathers evidence around RQ1-RQ4 and forms management-oriented conclusions.

A BUSINESS REPORT ON VIRTUAL TRY-ON ADOPTION IN CHINA’S BRIDAL RENTAL SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES
This report explored the value, limitations and implementation conditions of virtual try-on (VTO) in the wedding dress industry through interviews and case analyses of several bridal rental enterprises in Guangdong, China. Research indicates that VTO can enhance the efficiency of online reservation and in-store conversion, but due to the limitations of technological maturity and ritual requirements, it cannot replace offline try-on. The report proposes a parallel threshold framework, service journey positioning and phased review mechanisms, providing references for small and medium-sized enterprises to promote digital transformation within a controllable range.
