As my growing, there are specific expectations placed on women in terms of marriage within East Asian culture, which promoted the narration of Chapter 1. I felt a strong clash between Western and East Asian cultures, and marriage took on a different meaning. In China, marriages place more emphasis on the material and practical aspects of the partner. For most Chinese people, marriage is like a job interview – a rational and cautious process of weighing and choosing a partner. As I delve deeper into this chapter, I uncover the significant emphasis in East Asian cultural context on the training of female in marriages, such as being gentle, sensible, and forcing on family. Throughout the entire process, I shaped the societal labels for female in lovestruck and marriages based on this context. This strong contrast run deeply through my Chapter 1, expressing the contradictory state I find myself in as a female.

Chapter 2 is derived from my marriage with Australian girlfriend personal, an experience that awakened me to the brave pursuit of love, marriage, and even inner passions as women acting independently. Simultaneously, my design language has become more attuned to the emotional nuances of women's personal experiences.

I prefer to think of chapter 2 as a real-life performance artwork. During the preliminary research phase, I continuously monitor and document our changes with 24-hour uninterrupted surveillance, capturing records and photos. My design process and post-production visual presentation have created a scenario for two-person living, integrated with garments, visualizing the impact of this relationship through the traces of paint left by my actions. The entire experience feels like a dream to me. Many things might have faded away from life, but but the imprints remain on the soul.
