in good grief explores the space that exists between memory and spiritual energy, and its connection with grief.

The research phase of this project included autoethnographic accounts of a spiritual medium reading and aura photography to explore the unseen energy within clothing and photography. Additionally, I was inspired by my personal family archives, including clothing and photographs.

Driven by my experimental, process-led approach, this outcome is multi-disciplinary. in good grief exists as a short fashion film, which explores the fading of memories. This film features a handmade dress which dissolves to reveal a different styled look underneath. Accompanying this film is the in good grief archival-style zine. Utilizing handmade techniques such as polaroid-emulsion lifts and cyanotypes, this zine captures the bittersweet feeling of discovering an archive, and the memories that come alongside it.
