# Project Description My Liminal Space Millie Holliday Summary Final work College School of Pre-Degree Studies Course UAL Foundation Diploma in Art and Design Graduation year 2025 Liminal Space - "The in-between places or thresholds we pass through from one area to another; they are not meant for staying but rather for passing through" . An interactive piece that involves the viewer stepping inside and becoming encapsulated in the slowly spinning gallery of images. Representing a deeper understanding of my life post adoption, this installation contains my childhood and family and commemorates loved ones I have lost. This is my liminal space I have passed through this time which has led me from my birth to where I am now. In this project, I have experimented with layering current and archival images linking them using printed pattern and embroidery. These are the people and places in my timeline who have influenced and raised me.
