Liminal Space - "The in-between places or thresholds we pass through from one area to another; they are not meant for staying but rather for passing through".

An interactive piece that involves the viewer stepping inside and becoming encapsulated in the slowly spinning gallery of images. Representing a deeper understanding of my life post adoption, this installation contains my childhood and family and commemorates loved ones I have lost. This is my liminal space I have passed through this time which has led me from my birth to where I am now. In this project, I have experimented with layering current and archival images linking them using printed pattern and embroidery. These are the people and places in my timeline who have influenced and raised me.
