It lurks in the corners of her mind, whispering doubt and feeding off isolation. But The Darkness isn’t purely evil; it represents the wounded parts of the self that have been ignored or misunderstood. In the STARGRL narrative, confronting The Darkness becomes a crucial step toward healing, revealing that even the most feared inner voices are simply fragments longing to be seen, heard, and transformed.

The Blue Boy is the quiet sorrow at the heart of STARGRL’s world—a tender, melancholic figure who carries the weight of abandonment, loneliness, and the longing to be loved. He is frozen in time, a symbol of innocence lost and emotions left unspoken. Yet despite his sadness, The Blue Boy holds a quiet strength; through his vulnerability, he helps STARGRL reconnect with her true self. By facing his pain, she begins to remember who she was before the world told her to hide. In the STARGRL narrative, he becomes a guiding light—soft but powerful—reminding her that healing starts with feeling.

When drawing the lineup, I wanted the collection to feel visually connected—as if each look was part of a larger story orbiting around STARGRL’s universe. I’ve always loved illustration, so creating these drawings was such a fun and personal process for me. I used Ursula Andress’s face as my muse for the collection because I’m drawn to that iconic old Hollywood beauty—timeless, bold, and captivating. Her features resonated with STARGRL’s identity: a space-age siren, a bright, untouchable star. Drawing her face felt like giving STARGRL a physical connection to both nostalgia and the future, grounding the collection in a vision that was both classic and cosmic.
