This work is an inquiry into images and memory. Images as memory, images as the impossibility of memory, images that metabolise, images that invent, images that elude and images that linger, in places most unexpected. And never forget, that a new permutation takes place with every look, shadows of the past mutate into silhouettes of the future. The happened, the not-happened, the happening, the non-happening...

If it is in the nature of memories to be forgotten, then I consider paintings as not the representation of an image but its embodiment, to capture not what was in the image, but what will remain of it. The painting is the afterimage of memory.
