My work tends to focus on themes of trace, time and memory, with an interest in analogue processes especially ones involving a dark room. Next year I will be studying Arts and Sciences at UCL.

My work consists of liquid light emulsion prints of transcribed conversations and pinhole photographs. Printed in the darkroom I’ve set up at home, the text and images are taken from bus journeys spent listening to the voices that passed through the seats infront of me. This eavesdropping is an attempt to capture the auditory traces that are not preserved, archiving words that have reverberated around this transient space that is only inhabited for a limited time, giving me access to glimpses of dialogue that the speakers don’t know are being listened to and might otherwise be forgotten.
