This short film project is inspired by a vivid dream I had. It examines the silent, psychological violence that often exists within patriarchal family structures in Chinese and East-Asian families, violence that is invisible but deeply ingrained.

The narrative follows a mother and her daughters as they quietly endure this oppression over time. Eventually, the daughters carry out a meticulously planned act: they kill their father. This climactic moment symbolizes their radical attempt to dismantle patriarchy from within the domestic sphere.

The film adopts a cult-inspired aesthetic, blending surreal undertones with a naturalistic visual style. It aims to provoke reflection on generational trauma, female solidarity, and the unspoken codes of resistance within the family.
