The Lattice Window is a refined high-temperature enamel jewellery collection inspired by the poetic charm of Suzhou’s gardens and the intricate traditional lattice windows. Each piece transforms cultural heritage into wearable art, capturing the balance between structure and nature, tradition and modernity. Jewellery forms are guided by the geometric patterns of Chinese lattice windows, each symbolizing a unique story and cultural meaning. A rich gradient of green enamel evokes the lush greenery of Suzhou garden landscapes.
Final work

Lattice Begonia-Shaped Enamel Brooch
The inspiration of the brooch comes from the copper coin pattern, while its shape is borrowed from the frame of a begonia-shaped window. The surrounding surface employs the enamel inlay technique, achieving an effect resembling jade. The lattice section in the middle utilizes the plique-a-jour technique. When sunlight passes through the brooch, the colorful green light and shadow will be reflected on the back.

Lattice Triangular Enamel Ring
Inspired by the intricate lattice windows of Suzhou’s gardens, the ring captures the essence of traditional Chinese elegance through a modern lens. The ring is inspired by the cracked ice pattern, the use of plique-à-jour technique creates a translucent, stained-glass effect, allowing light to pass through, which reflects the beauty of the garden scenery. The ring is polished and gold-plated, enhancing the luxury and warmth of the design.

Lattice Fan-Shaped Enamel Ring
The ring is inspired by the pattern of copper coins, symbolizing wealth and prosperity. When viewed from the side, the arc of the ring is derived from the shape of a fan-shaped window. The ring is double-layered. The outer layer employs the technique of plique-a-jour, using four different shades of green for colour jumps, while the retained gaps also add an airiness to the design.
