Lucy Ansa-Addo is a published celebrity fashion stylist and recording artist who has performed at Glastonbury and Wireless festivals. She is also an unpaid carer and the founder of Laoxa Ltd, a purpose-driven food and arts brand based in Tottenham, North London. An alumna of London College of Fashion (UAL), Lucy graduated in Fashion Sportswear in 2013.

Lucy Ansa-Addo’s Freedom Is… is a multi-sensory installation that reimagines freedom as a home we build together - a space of comfort, creativity, and collective voice. Through tufted textile canvases, symbolic clay sculptures, and an interactive yellow telephone, the work explores how freedom can be nurtured, carried, and shared. Visitors are invited to reflect on what freedom means to them, adding their voices to a living soundscape. Rooted in resilience and community, the installation celebrates Black creativity while inviting collective participation.
