As climate change worsens, weather grows increasingly unpredictable. A devastating rainstorm in my usually arid hometown in central China made me realize how vulnerable urban life can be. This project explores the relationship between body and shelter in uncertain environments. Through upcycling second-hand garments and zero-waste cutting, I aim to create multifunctional pieces that fuse utility with urban fashion. Designed for city dwellers, these garments adapt to changing weather and daily scenarios. The project questions our wasteful habits and reimagines fashion as a sustainable, protective layer in an unstable world.
