This was my home before the January 2025 Southern California wildfires. The sculpture explores the transition from visual perfection to idealism, reflecting my journey of acceptance after witnessing the destruction of my childhood home. Through video projection, I narrate the evolution of my experiences growing up in Pacific Palisades, culminating in the reminder of loss and resilience that I found in the ashes.
