# Project Description Heavy Petal Linda Lindfors Summary Final work Hello I'm Linda, I'm a passionate and curious creative from Finland, i have just graduated from London College of Fashion, completing my 3 year BA course on Textiles Print Design , i loved my time studying print design for textiles and have developed my overall artistic skills over the period, i love drawing and painting from nature and everyday experiences, i am very experimental and enjoy learning new aspects of the work i create, i work with bold colour choises, fabrication and pattern design. College London College of Fashion Course BA (Hons) Fashion Textiles: Print Graduation year 2025 Heavy Petal is a project that reflects my reaction to the climate crisis of seeing the destruction of the natural world by fires and melting glaciers in contrast to the abundant beauty the natural world holds. My collection takes a walk through nature, inspired by forests, botanical gardens, mushrooms and branches whilst keeping in mind the reality of global warming and the effect it has on the natural world. I created print designs that reflect biomorphic pattern design, experimentation,destruction and fabric manipulation through pleating. This tactile collection feels alive, buzzing with energy and beauty, which is showed through the vibrant colour palette. Heavy is the destruction we humans cause nature to suffer through man-made disasters, petal is the flower power world around me, the abundant beauty it has over me. This is a fashion spell, an ode to the mysteries we were never meant to solve, only to feel.
