‘’Merrylegs” is a playful childrenswear project inspired by a real life short story about a cheerful little horse named Merrylegs, brought to life through three fun and distinctive colour palettes. Exploring themes of childhood playfulness, nostalgia and storytelling through textiles. My designs feature bold stripes, graphics and motifs, i’m excited to explore texture as a storytelling tool, from fluffy garment fronts that invite touch, to swatches that bring each colour palette to life. My collection is wearable fashion for young girls and has an exciting sense of nostalgia and tactile storytelling, creating a playful world where each piece invites children to see, feel and imagine.
