I am a maker, I like to be hands on with my creations, as I look forward to the practical elements when producing a composition. I tend to be ambitious and challenge myself, testing the extent of my abilities as an artist and going beyond what I imagined would be possible. I'm keen on understanding new skills to increase the variety of work I can create, therefore widening my curiosity and pushing the boundaries of my ideas.

My project involves a silent film, containing themes of struggle, control, and a disregard for natural laws. It includes a costume constructed from a mix of existing and hand-made components, inspired by 1920’s circus and cabaret performers, along with its own modern twists, and a clay puppet that has a particularly similar appearance to the protagonist, Marionette. The film is perplexing and intriguing, with an intentional story line, yet it is also open for interpretation. Amidst an unrealistic portrayal of reality, there are distinguishable, renowned feelings of isolation and dissatisfaction with oneself, with an unforeseen, sudden opportunity to change it all.
