These are dysfunctional people, as seen through the eyes of a newborn, unclouded by experience, exposing a deeper nature of these characters, which they themselves have long since buried away. Their bodies are just as much abstracted as they are literal. Their actions just as much exaggerated as they are authentic. Like puppets, they are devoid of a higher power to grant them life and completely at the mercy of any hand stronger than their own.
