‘Threads of the Earth,’ is an exploration of the human connection to the natural world, featuring a series of 21 textile collages and a garment. Each collage is shaped by individual responses to a questionnaire, reflecting the unique ways people connect with the natural world. They have been carefully handmade using 100% natural dyes and recycled cotton fabric, and embellished using glass and wooden beads. Following a zero-waste pattern, the collages were then joined together with tie-dye patches to create a long, reversible overlay.
