“Appetition” delves into the depths of childhood memories, exploring the profound connection to my aunt and uncle’s countryside home. As a child, I would tiptoe through the dimly lit halls, comforted by the creaky floorboards and the towering presence of antique wardrobes. Time seemed to blur in that house, especially at night, when the flickering candlelight cast long shadows and the air was thick with the scent of aged wood and nostalgia. The rooms, filled with curious objects, appeared to come alive, each corner whispering tales of the past. “Appetition” seeks to translate these fragmented memories into a tangible experience, intertwining themes of nighttime tales, longing, and the desire to return to the past.
