# Project Description HYBRI3 Magazine Kiah Thorne Summary Final work College London College of Fashion Course MA Fashion Journalism and Content Creation Graduation year 2025 HYBRI3 (pronounced “hybrid” ) is an experimental, independent culture magazine that explores the complexities of hybrid identity and cultural hybridity within the Global Majority, its diasporas, and in multicultural societies. The magazine is structured around issues shaped by place because identity doesn’t exist in isolation. It’s influenced by where we grow up, where our families come from, and where our cultures take root. Each multicultural city carries its own version of hybridity, shaped by migration histories, local culture, and generational shifts. The first issue begins in London, offering a vivid starting point for exploring how hybrid identities are lived, questioned, and celebrated every day. Through a mix of fashion editorials, interviews, food, cultural critique, and more, the magazine aims to reflect and honor how individuals living in-between cultures, generations, and languages navigate, maintain, and express their identity.
