This project is about the "temporary" anxiety experienced by international students. When in a foreign country, international students often face challenges that are completely different from those of local students. However, university and local students may find it difficult to recognize these issues. For example, not knowing how to engage in small talk, fearing phone calls due to accents, or being unsure of how to order food. These small challenges collectively shape the self-identity and sense of belonging for international students in their "temporary" home abroad.
