A London-based designer and a final year student in Fashion Bags and Accessories. With the ability to navigate through multi-diverse background and cultural heritage. Having deep appreciation for craftsmanship and meaning, this final year I have actively chosen to embrace the beauty in culture and tradition to create a contemporary audience. Creating pieces that blend sacred pattern, storytelling, and modern form to celebrate culture in wearable and emotional ways.

A Modern Journey Through Islamic Design - Shukr meaning "gratitude" and "thankfulness", Shukr is not just a brand, but a personal expression of gratitude, identity, and belonging.

With understanding what I wanted to create for the final year collection explores the intersection of Islamic geometry, cultural heritage, and contemporary accessory design. Rooted in the visual language of Islamic art and architecture, Shukr focuses the body of work drawing inspiration from tessellations, Mughal motifs, and spiritual symbolism of repetition and order. This collection of affordable luxury bags and accessories reinterprets traditional forms through modern lens - combining soft, earthy colour palettes, intricate pattern work, and experimental materials. Each piece in this collection is designed as a wearable artefact, modern with a twist of beauty, cultural craftsmanship, while speaking to a global, design-conscious audience. Shukr looks to embody a design journey shaped by meaning, memory, and modernity.
