# Project Description Tasteless Symbiosis Katie Yeh Summary Final work Chia-Yen Yeh (Katie) is an award-winning Taiwanese photographer and creative content strategist based in London. Her work has been internationally recognised, receiving two International Photography Awards (IPA) in Conceptual Advertising, alongside an Official Selection in 2022, celebrating her ability to blend powerful storytelling with striking visual execution. Katie brings hands-on experience across creative marketing, content development, and storytelling. With a background in both creative media production and strategic communication, she has led cross-functional teams in delivering impactful campaigns, including an e-commerce project that achieved a 70% increase in promotional traffic and a 15% reduction in customer issues. Her work is defined by a strong visual sensibility, audience-first thinking, and the ability to align creative ideas with business goals. Katie began her creative journey at Central Saint Martins before earning a BA in Photography from the London College of Communication. She also completed professional training in Consumer Behaviour for Marketing and Management at the London School of Economics and Political Science, further enriching her ability to build brand messaging that resonates with diverse audiences. College London College of Communication Course BA (Hons) Photography Graduation year 2025 This project explores the interdependence between humans and nature through the symbolic use of bread, an essential staple representing our reliance on ecological systems. A loaf placed on the woman's legs reflects how sustenance cycles through and connects both bodies and ecosystems. The project envisions a return to harmony with nature, where the boundaries between the human-made and natural worlds dissolve. It reflects on how food shapes us as much as we shape it, highlighting nature’s quiet power to reclaim space and humanity’s role in coexisting, rather than dominating.
