Passionate about art, spaces, stories, and the human connection to both, I explore the boundaries between interior design and fine art. My creative practice is rooted in craftsmanship. I find joy in making things by hand, working with materials, and developing tactile, thoughtful experiences. At the same time, I’m confident with digital tools and software. I’m always seeking to expand my knowledge - learning is a key part of my practice.

My project began with an in-depth investigation into mosaic as both an artistic medium and a metaphor, for identity, community, and transformation. Beginning with a personal mosaic shaped by my perception of Peckham, built from recycled fragments gathered from locals, the work blended individual insight with a sense of shared community.

This led to the proposal and development of The Mosaic House, a participatory art project set within Safehouse One in Peckham. The work expands from a single mosaic into a collaborative, community-built space, a living portrait of South-East London.

Through contributions from local residents, workshops, and shared storytelling, the house will become a hub of healing, creativity, and cultural memory. The Mosaic House reclaims space and positions the community not as subjects, but as co-creators of meaning and design.

Final work

A large, hand-made mosaic panel composed of repurposed tiles, broken ceramics, glass, and mirrors in rich shades of blue, green, cream, and gold.
A proposed installation of a mosaic artwork within an exhibition space at Safehouse 1, a Victorian house in Peckham, South East London.
A community space proposal featuring rooms designed around mosaic art, including a workshop, screening lounge, patio, library, and mosaic-tiled WC.
Architectural plans and cross-sections of "Mosaic House" show the transformation of a two-story Victorian building into a community art space.

Research and process

A series of photos documents the early construction stages of a mosaic panel, from measuring and cutting the board to gluing broken parts
Images show the detailed process of shaping, arranging, and embedding intricate mosaic fragments, including ceramics, glass, flowers and mirror tiles.
