I fold theory and writing into the materiality of my work. My work troubles binary thinking, reductive definitions and engages through fictioning techniques. I am sceptical of ocularcentrism and intrigued by visualisation processes used by sciences. M y work touches on the broader themes of time, space, narrative, and spectatorship. Final work untitled (bennu'd by the confusion) (2025) Film by Kat Newman Colour digital video and sound, 2mins 19secs. The spacecraft OSIRIS_REx landed on Bennu and collected a sample of the asteroid.
