This project explores how visual design can empower feminist movements and challenge social norms through a tactical, interactive card game. Initially inspired by the Riot Grrrl and Guerrilla Girls movements, VOICE BOX uses a bold, rebellious aesthetic and a rotary phone-inspired packaging design to symbolize a call to action and amplify marginalized voices.Through thorough research, multiple prototypes, and user feedback, the design evolved into an accessible, eye-catching product aimed at encouraging conversation, reflection, and solidarity, particularly among young adults and feminist communities. The final packaging features a fluffy, tactile exterior to contrast with serious themes and foster approachability, while revised labels make gameplay clearer and more inclusive. By combining activist messaging, visual storytelling, and playful design, this project highlights the potential of design as activism—inviting users to connect, reflect, and be heard.
