College Camberwell College of Arts Course MA Interior And Spatial Design Graduation year 2025 Tracing the Invisible Through Boundary, Sense, and Material This project investigates how invisible memory becomes spatial through sensory and material experience. Developed from research on boundaries, sensory perception, and the emotional presence of objects, the work positions the table as a site where memory unfolds. Wax is used as the primary material for its ability to absorb, hold, and slowly release scent. As the wax warms and diffuses fragrance into the space, memory extends beyond the individual body, creating a shared atmosphere that others can enter. Through olfactory, tactile, and visual encounters, the table enables reflection, healing rituals, and collective participation. It records traces over time—marks, scents, and gestures—becoming an evolving archive of lived experience. Rather than a static object, it grows with each interaction, embodying continuity, care, and the gradual layering of personal and shared histories.
