Jingmei Lin

"I cut my hair" is inspired by a childhood memory of cutting my own hair. This project uses absurdity for self-exploration, seeing the world through a child’s eyes and turning everyday things into something extraordinary.

By returning to a childlike perspective, I escape adult logic and rules, letting spontaneity guide the design.

Blurring reality and surrealism, tradition and non-tradition, I challenge wearability with twisted silhouettes, exaggerated proportions, and unexpected materials.
