Intersection Space: Where Queer Love Still Could Exist is a multimedia project that explores the phenomenon of pseudo-queer mainstreaming in contemporary Chinese society.
Using a research publication that can be opened from either end, together with an interactive map and two monologue videos, the project reveals a paradox: while fandom shipping has become mainstream online, real queer communities still face censorship, marginalisation, and erasure in everyday life. It is a space for the audience to read, to think, and to locate themselves.
