An etching print of a monument which appears in my memory of my hometown, is hidden behind a low paper window. When we crouch and look through the window from our childhood perspective, outside and inside the window, foreign land and hometown, present and past, are connected through the window. The me inside the window yearned for the world outside, while the me outside the window misses my blurred “home” inside, yet is blocked by the translucent paper window. The monument is also an imprint of my home which has become further and further away. Use of etching engraved the sorrow into my image.
