Running offers a host of benefits, from boosting cardiovascular health and strengthening muscles to improving overall fitness and reducing the risk of chronic diseases. Over the past year, running has seen a significant rise in popularity, particularly in urban areas, where it has become a way for people to socialize and support their mental health. Notably, the number of Gen Z women taking up running has grown steadily in recent years.

However, urban running presents unique safety challenges for women, including risks of harassment, phone theft, injuries, and navigating busy streets with cars.  At the same time a lot of  running bags aren't ergonomic for female bodies and do not reflect the goals a lot of city runners have : connection and lifestyle over purely performance.
