I started designing in 2019, making one of one upcycled designs from fabric waste, and selling to customers all around the world.

Then, in 2021, I decided to go to university, studying Menswear at London College Of Fashion, to learn and develop my skills further.

I picked up CLO3D, which showed me how powerful new technologies can be, and combined this with my upcycling to further develop my sustainability goals.

In 2023 I started CloGenesis, a project focused on making upcycling easier, focused on supplying and teaching sustainable fashion and upcycling on a large scale.

Since then I have worked with both Maxime Black, a CSM MA grad who combines sustainability and technology, and RWRK Studio, a brand focused on upcycling consumer waste into useful products.

The project I call [PANGAEA-PROXIMA] began development in 2021. I had been making clothes for around 2 years at that point and decided I needed a new way to generate ideas and concepts that could push my work forward in a long-term and sustainable way.

I have always been interested in science-fiction and world-building, and love dreaming about what the future might hold, which is why I decided to call this project

 [PANGAEA-PROXIMA]

meaning...

PANGAEA: A super-continent that existed during the late Paleozoic and early Mesozoic eras, comprising almost all the present-day landmasses

PROXIMA: The concept of being near, close, or next.

And so...

[PANGAEA-PROXIMA] means “The Next Whole Mother Earth”

It describes a future super-continent, one that will come about in around 250 million years time.

This is the setting my collection is based, giving a glimpse into this future would and what it might be like.
