What Do You Do For You?' looks to Social Prescribing – specifically engagement with the arts and the notion of creative health – as the next step to improve public health at scale.

Appropriating the seemingly outdated term, ‘Hobby’, WDYDFY? explores how brand and product design can be used to positively impact the mental health and wellbeing of communities by connecting individuals, as well as increasing access, to local clubs, classes and workshops that are centred around creativity.

Final work

Three stacks of coloured cards, each promoting individual activities, ie. Pottery workshops, life drawing classes and dance classes.

Hobby activity cards

A selection of branded cards to promote local workshops, classes and clubs hosted on the Hobby platform.

A collage of Hobby activity cards for a pottery workshop. The cards have been scanned and the image is distorted.

A poster which reads 'What do you do for you?' is being held up with two hands. The poster is folded like an accordion.
