# Project Description Liquid Fear James Dorsey Summary Final work College School of Pre-Degree Studies Course UAL Foundation Diploma in Art and Design Graduation year 2025 My project is a response to the ever-present existence of fear in our modern society. I am interested in confronting the ubiquitousness of fear through opening a conversation about it with every-day people, and figuring out the best way to visualize it. Through this, I am attempting to allow us to introspect on our relationship with fear and think about why we don’t voice it out more often. Final work fear has big eyes This publication, which was done almost completely by hand aside from the help of a plotting machine, seeks to visualize fears and help us introspect on the ubiquity of fear with modern living. The introductory poem speaks to the unrelenting and apathetic nature of fear, and the fact that everyone is subject to it. Each print used is a depiction of a real, every-day person revealing a fear of theirs, overlaid by a page of vellum with a vinyl sticker of a pictogram representing that fear.
