This project challenges the belief in Singapore that creative careers are less valuable than traditional paths like medicine, engineering or finance. It explores the roots of this mindset, the struggles creatives face, and how a sense of community and belonging can help shift these views. By fostering support networks and celebrating local voices, the project aims to reshape perceptions and highlight that the creative industry is just as valuable. In collaboration with aspiring Singaporean creatives, I developed Serendipity, an initiative designed to empower Singaporean creatives to pursue their creative passions with confidence.
