College London College of Fashion Course BA (Hons) Fashion Journalism and Content Creation Graduation year 2025 The I Anthology is a publication dedicated to platforming female creatives who often go under-acknowledged in modern-day media. It is a small collection of work that aims to represent the topics I intend to cover throughout my career as a journalist. I understand this instantly appears to be a serious, heavy topic, and to some extent, it is. A vast majority of women in the arts still fall victim to being undercelebrated in the media. However, please don’t be fooled, The I Anthology is home to a mixture of content that aims to inform and inspire, as well as instil the odd giggle. I, myself, am a female hoping to get a foot in the creative door, which only drove my incentive to create a platform solely celebrating women designers, photographers, artists, actors, authors, readers and many more who perhaps go undervalued. For years now, I have revelled in storytelling, whether that be creating homemade magazines on an evening or starting (what I assured myself to be a groundbreaking fiction novel), which I scrapped after the third chapter. So with a heavy need to tell stories, I produced The I Anthology, a space where I can do what I do best, write. Expect in-depth, educational features, punchy profile pieces, chic interviews, and crucial news pieces, which aim to brighten up your inbox each week. Not only do I hope to expand your knowledge, but I also urge you to view this digital space as a place to call your own. Share your thoughts, agree or disagree with me (I suggest you lean towards the former), or offer suggestions as to what could be covered, talk to one another, and help me transform The I Anthology into your digital home. The I Anthology’s mission is big, but there’s nothing a young, creative female in her 20s can’t do, right? The world is my oyster, and The I Anthology is here to attempt to address this lack of content, focusing on under-celebrated female creatives. It’s looking to bring newness and authenticity to the worn narratives at the crooks of modern-day media.
