Hi, I'm an animation student with an interest in traditional techniques, such as 2D-drawn and stop-motion. Alongside other art/craft-based hobbies, I spend my free time filling my sketchbook with illustrations, using mainly coloured pencils to draw from both observation and my imagination. Through a science-fictional lens, I speculate on how cities might change in order to accommodate the rapidly growing urban population and respond to climate change. I was inspired to look at these themes by the book, Planet City, by Liam Young, and biologist, E.O. Wilson's Half-Earth concept.

Final work

TETROPOLIS

In this animation, the protagonist discovers his role in a grand urbanisation scheme. He realises that his mindless pastime is being used to condense populations into a single megacity: the 'Tetropolis'.
