My goal is make people connect and feel exited about exploring new spaces within nature. The mountain hut was made to preserve the nature surrounding, meanwhile protecting the space within from harsh weather conditions.

Keeping the hut long lasting with materials that would combat the weather were important because my building is placed in the Ailefroide, French Alps. Using corrugated metal for the outside for its durability and then adding a wooden interior for its insulating ability.

The target audience is climbers and hikers as these two types of people are the ones to pass through my area as my site, Ailefroide, is known for its wide range of climbing routes, Via ferratas and beautiful hiking spots.
