UN-IDENTICAL reimagines footwear as a second skin: a mono-material, 3D-printed lattice tuned to each foot’s pressure and movement. Using bio tensegrity as a design principle, fractal branching and auxetic cells create zones that flex, splay and rebound like fascia - supporting proprioception while resisting the waste of multi-material shoes. The work proposes a circular scan-to-print-to-recycle model where every pair can be re-milled and reprinted.
