Ines Ahrends Herrera

I am intrigued by what shapes us. A great part of ourselves is the action we choose to take. What makes up the rest? Circumstances surrounding us, a line of action we cannot control. I see our involuntary conditioning not as a cruel fate, but as unsung experiences, a string of unknown events enabling us to select our path. 

My project works to map this conditioning through reflection on my Spanish heritage and adolescent experiences.
